Make sure that you activate it when you are pretty sure that your opponent has at least one piece of Exodia in his hand. This is the most helpful card in the Exodia event.
This is why I recommend that you run a beatdown deck and add a few of the following cards: The Exodia event is all about ruining the event for those who actually try to get Exodia on their hands.
